Sarah Records Series #1: The Field Mice - Snowball + Singles

Les Tempes Modernes ~ 1989/2005

The debut album from one of the best of the Sarah Records-related bands, The Field Mice, this is a wonderfully dour slice of jingle-jangle that stands as an essential example of late-eighties British guitar-pop. Even better, the 2005 remastered edition "sweetens" the pot by collecting all of the band's early Sarah singles, which are, arguably, even better than the album proper.

  1. Interesting I didn't know this band, I think it's something like the early My Bloody Valentine before
    Loveless era.
Hey what's happened to megaup, there's something that I've missed.

  2. Hi Armin, I switched to mediafire for the much faster dl time and I wasn't able to get accurate stats on megaup for some reason. I might switch back at some point because mediafire has a habit of suspending accounts. We'll see how it goes.

  3. This is AWESOME! I had "For Keeps" and assumed I would never be able to hear the other albums. Thanks too for MediaFire links. With MF I think you need to watch the amount of uploads like when you're near the 5gig point.
Thanks again for bringing the site back. I know it's a pain to maintain a site and work full time too but anything is better than nothing!
